Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert, born on the 27th of January, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was formerly an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior associate of the Hudson Institute. It is an think tank for conservatives.



 



 Before joining the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. From March 2018 to October of 2018, Nauert served as Acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy within the Trump administration. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
